Christine has 20 years of esteemed construction and property experience; her passion and experience began in 1998 when she started working within the Serviced Office Industry (SOI).
During her time in the SOI, Christine rose through the company ranks, where she spent six and a half years managing the Eastern region properties for a national company – which included twenty business centres. During this time, she led a team of 22 to great success. Through her passion and dedication to her work, Christine was headhunted by a Refurbishment Company, where she furthered her expertise in Design and Build and Networking. It was here she began formulating ideas surrounding her own company, combining property and construction, due to her esteemed knowledge & experience of both practices.
This is when in 2012, Christine started her own business, where she has found her combined experience of property and construction has been matched with her love of assisting businesses to grow. Her passion is connecting people whose businesses will work well with each other.
When Alan joined WPS in 2011 he brought with him not only many years’ IT experience (starting in 1974), but also a passion and experience in the Construction Industry and a wealth of business management experience. His IT background includes Programming, Systems Design and Communications, including trouble shooting. Alan spent a lot of the 1980’s travelling Europe as an ‘Expert Consultant’ for a leading International IT manufacturer.
Alan’s passion for construction started when he was at school and spent several holidays assisting his father (a Civil Engineer) with surveying projects, etc. and prior to joining WPS he was employed as a Contracts Manager working mainly in the domestic and retail sectors of the Industry.
Recently he assisted Lara on the Innovate UK funded DRIM project, which had a BIM interface, where his IT skills, knowledge and experience were particularly useful, but also his specialist knowledge of Pre-Demolition / Pre-Refurbishment Audits was a definite plus.
Alan injects valuable knowledge and experience into any of the projects in which he gets involved, but his passion for the vision and ethos behind Circles is particularly strong.
In November 2009 Lara founded Waste Plan Solutions Ltd (WPS), based on her joint passions of waste and construction and successful employment roles with the CIWM and BRE. Initially WPS specialised in the production and management of SWMP’s for the Construction Industry. Since then Lara has driven product and service diversity at WPS, developing it into a specialist compliance consultancy.
In March 2012 Lara won the coveted ‘Outstanding Woman In Construction’ award, as a result of her passion, efforts and results in driving down construction waste and in April 2018 she and her team won the prestigious ‘Consulting Team of the Year Award’ at the International Women In Compliance Awards ceremony in London. Lara speaks regularly at various prestigious events, is a part time lecturer at Coventry University, a guest lecturer at others and is an accredited trainer for CIWM.
Lara is now harnessing her passion and drive for the benefit of the construction industry via her involvement with Circles.
"Circles is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other industry professionals in a relaxed and informal environment sharing news and views about current trends and technology"
“Lara is nothing short of inspirational, she sees a practice – the way things have always been done – and designs a new and better solution that shows she knows exactly what she is doing. She is insightful and smart and her results bear this out. She is highly regarded by friends and colleagues”
“ I have known Christine for many years and she is a hugely knowledgeable and connected individual in the Property and Construction sector. Christine is very well respected and I would highly recommend her to anyone in business”
"Having attended a number of networking events, including running my own I understand the importance of ‘getting it right’. I have known Christine and Lara for a number of years and have attended many events. These events are always well attended, extremely well organised and a credit to all the hard work they put in to make it a success. I have no hesitation in confirming that they certainly ‘get it right’"

"I work for Energy & Carbon Management, as a Business Development Executive. It was extremely important for me to find networks that would require our services!
I have attended the Rubix networking lunch for over a year and more recently Circles networking, hosted by Christine Hall and Lara Ayris. This has been an invaluable resource for me developing strong, dependable and interesting connections, who will actively work within their network and recommend your services. Christine Hall is instrumental in connecting people together where there is a mutual business synergy and we discuss the success of new business partnerships at our lunches.
For me the networking offered above is invaluable, enjoyable and gets results!"
“Before meeting Christine Hall I would actively avoid networking events as I found them pushy and all the same. That was until I met Christine and she invited me to her Rubix networking event. Christine didn’t only make me feel welcome but ensured that I was introduced to as many people as possible and sought feedback after the event to see if I enjoyed it. Thanks to Christine I ensure that I regularly attend her networking event and I have also met other professionals that I now collaborate with on schemes which has helped grow my business. Networking now rules thanks Christine”
